To strengthen the backside off the shoulder muscles.

Client’s aim

To strengthen the backside off your shoulder muscles.

Therapist’s instructions

Position the patient in prone with both legs and arms fully extended outwards. Instruct the patient to lift up one of their arms at a time until it can’t go any higher and then instruct them to lower it back down. Repeat with the other arm.

Clients instructions

Position yourself lying on your belly with both legs and arms fully extended outwards. Start with raising one of your arms until you can’t go any further, then start lowering the arm back down. Repeat with the other arm.
